Caorle - Altanea is a completely new part of one of the most popular northern Italian resorts on the Adriatic coast. It was built "on a green field" between the districts of Porto Santa Margherita and Duna Verde, only about 5 km from the historic center of Caorle, which is connected by a bike path.
There is also a small shopping gallery with shops, cafés and ice cream parlors, and there is even a large supermarket nearby. Children and adults alike will appreciate the free tourist train, which will take you to and from the beach for free, so you don't have to walk with a load of buckets and cakes.
If you don't want to relax on the beach, you can go on a trip to the historic part of Caorle. Its ancient romantic center features colorful houses in narrow streets, a pedestrian area with shops and cafés, a unique coastal promenade with sculptures carved into the boulders, a church on the beach and a sloping bell tower.
Every year, the European Commission awards the town of Caorle the so-called Blue Flag, which is an award for the cleanliness of beaches and respect for the environment. You can also try to dedicate a site dedicated to this popular holiday resort - Caorle Lido di Altanea.
